Why is it important for me to visit the dentist?

Seeing a trusted dental professional is almost as important as brushing and flossing every day. A dentist has trained to treat your teeth and gum health when necessary, and they can often spot problems before you notice them at all! Dr. Cannon takes pride in looking out for your overall oral health, and he wants to help you achieve optimal wellness however he can. Visiting our Ft. Worth dentist’s office twice a year can assist you in improving your smile and your health.

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant replaces a single tooth from the root to the top of your tooth. It’s placed deep in jaw bone tissue and the gums to create a stable replacement tooth. Dental implants can be used to retain a single dental crown, or multiple dental implants can be utilized to hold an implant-retained denture in place. Dr. Cannon is very experienced with placing and restoring dental implants at his Ft. Worth dental practice. Contact us today to learn more about this restorative dentistry method.

I’m afraid of the dentist. Is there any way you can help?

Yes. Dr. Cannon and the other professionals at our Ft. Worth dental office know that many adults have a deep fear of seeing the dentist. Often, this prevents them from seeking the care they need to keep their smile healthy. To help alleviate your anxiety, Dr. Cannon offers multiple sedation dentistry services. Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, can be used to calm the nerves of many patients during most dental treatments. For extreme phobia of the dentist or for patients undergoing several long treatments, you may want to request IV sedation. Call our office to learn more about these helpful services!
